Established in 1970, Menadiona is an independent, privately owned company dedicated to the manufacture of active ingredients and intermediates for the veterinary, pharmaceutical and nutritional industries since then.
Our commitment towards our corporate mission lies in our experience in improving chemical synthesis processes. In that sense we work in two different directions:
1. An open product list of active substances and fine chemicals that
complies with current industry standard and pharmacopoeias.
2. Our customer manufacturing services that produce special
specifications for particular products, regarding volumes, chemical
properties and of course price.
With a staff of 130 individuals and two manufacturing sites located in Palafolls (Barcelona) and Malaga this Catalan company is characterized by its strong export volume, which accounts for more than 80% of its sales.
Menadiona’s sites include 300.000 litres of overall reaction volume (14 glass-line reactors and 35 stainless steel), 18 centrifuges, 16 dryers, millers, mixers, filling machines and micronisation capacity, and state-of-art laboratory equipment.
