Fine Chemicals Division Today
The plant is located in Banyeres del Penedès, near Tarragona, and was built in 1975 by Farma Lepori, a Spanish company aquired by the Angelini Group in 1979.
The original plant was expanded in 1991 with the construction of a modern laboratory for quality control and new process development.
In 1992 FINAF 92, S.A. financial holding is established. It owns two industrial plants: FINAF 92 Fine Chemicals and FINAF 92 Pharmaceuticals. FARMA LEPORI becomes the commercial company for Fine Chemicals, Ethicals and OTC products
A new drying and packaging facility was installed in 1999.
